Dawah (دعوة, literally: summons or
call, also da'wa) is an Arabic term meaning "invite" or
"invitation".
Dawah is considered to be the Muslim responsibility to invite
others to Islam. Dawah is often referred to as the act of
preaching Islam. It can apply to Muslims and non-Muslims alike.
