Mahdi

The Mahdi (Arabic: ãåÏíý transliterated: Mihdī, also Mehdi "Guided One"), in Islamic eschatology, is the prophesied redeemer of Islam, who will change the world into a perfect Islamic society before Yaum al-Qiyamah (literally "Day of the Resurrection").
