Quran comments on the unjust distribution of economic power
which results in the emergence of two distinct classes in the
society: al-mustakbirin and al-mustadafin. The former are
economically powerful and corrupt people who oppress the weaker
sections of society. The latter consist of economically weak and
oppressed people who remain contented with their fate.
